Description A white Bagasse bowl with a 160mm (6.5″) diameter and 34mm deep (1.5″), a capacity of 12fl.oz, and made from sugarcane waste material. These are compostable but require disposal in a commercial composter. Bagasse is made from dry fibrous residue left over from the sugarcane processing proceedure and the sugar juice has been extracted with the pulp then being subjected to high pressure and heat to be made into sturdy tableware. Typical applications for this product are soups, puddings, savouries and general buffet food at parties and events. They are also suitable for hot, liquid greasy foods. * Microwave safe depending on the specific temperature requirement and food / beverage concerned.
