So Annie has been documenting his life, finding specific answers to questions about his life and times. When your loved one is no longer with you, it’s too late to ask questions. Ask questions now, interview your parents, and learn about the people you care most about. Their lives matter as much as yours! What Is Included:A special essential oil blend to diffuse and use while writing and processing your answers.A workbook with specific questions that will help you craft your memoir.Morning and Afternoon Tea, and a delicious Plant-Based Lunch on both days.5-minute video of yourself telling a story about ‘you’.Presentation coaching for your video.Bound notebook.Exceptional techniques to create your masterpiece.A complete gift bag includes helpful items to support your journaling.Grass walk for stimulating your senses.Relaxation session.A personal gift for each attendee to remind them of their worth. After some morning tea, the group pairs up and moves to private areas to record events and experiences that matter to each individual. A delicious lunch will be served, enhancing focus for the afternoon session. You will receive specific information by mid-afternoon to assist with next day’s activity. The group will do some stretching and breathing for clarity. The day’s final session will help you formulate the questions you want to include in your video. The first day will conclude at 4:45 pm.What happens on Day TWO?Day two begins at 9.30 am, with a group meeting and discussion of the challenges and successes of our work to date. Those who want to share will do so! After morning tea, the group will pair off; those having their video first will require preparation and attention. Using several locations in the garden, our Videographer will produce a 5-minute Video for each person, allowing them to share their story and have it preserved digitally for future use. These videos will be edited accordingly. Another healthy, plant-based lunch will be served. In the afternoon, we discuss critical end-of-life conversations, wills, your wishes, and more. Afternoon tea will follow on this talk, more filming will take place, and the day will conclude with several readings, gift presentations, and final instructions for ‘what next’. Day two concludes at 4.30 pm.FAQs:Will there be time for relaxation?Absolutely. Rather than being a victim of circumstance, you can create more stability by finding meaning and purpose. To do this, you need to commit yourself to taking action. Writing about your life can be very cathartic and healing. Please consider your current life and look for aspects that fulfil you. Take time to write about things that give you joy and/or things you have yet to do. Some experiences and memories might represent joy and meaning. When that happens, you have something that can significantly enrich your life. Think about your legacy and what you want people to know about you. When you book for ‘Your Life Matters Retreat’, we will send you a list of preparations, questions, and guidance to help you get ready for the exciting 2 days in November. We believe this retreat is the most important event you will ever attend or commit to.What’s not included:Will preparation, a printed book, accommodation or Ongoing counselling. End of Life Planning.
